Description
This is a logo design project which I need to create a logo that could represent myself. I chose the fox as I am quite a shy and sly person. The concept behind it is that I combined the foxtail and campfire to create a logo for a designer's common working space. Fox is a solitary animal, just like a lot of designers who work alone. For the campfire, it implies gathering so I wish to create a space where designers from all over the world could meet and work together.
The above is only a few parts of the process. I tried to get familiar with the curve of the fox with sketches and then use illustrator to do a more refine version and development of the logo.
Insight
Storytelling for a logo is really important, it has to show the feeling that I am trying to convey in just a logo and that took me quite some time to figure it out. Only through experiments, I could understand what I want and what do not work.
